Services

H2O Engineering & Management (H2OEM) is a comprehensive consulting and management firm. We provide storm water management services to developers, architects, contractors, engineers and industrial facilities operators and/or owners. Working in small and big scale projects and with EPA, Regional and State Water Quality Control Boards' experts, H2O Engineering and Management offers ingenious, yet cost effective studies, documentation and on-site consulting for stormwater pollution prevention and all related surface water quality issues.
Companies will appreciate our one-on-one, high quality service and lower fees that a larger consultant may not be able to offer. Providing a full spectrum of services, our main specialty falls into the following:
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) preparation and amendments
Using engineering professionals, H2OEM prepares a unique SWPPP to each facility that satisfies the requirements of State and Federal regulations and permits (Construction, Industrial & Municipal). Our services include filing Notice of Intent (NOI), Notice of Termination (NOT), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) preparation (construction and / or industrial activities) and setting up all necessary paperwork for field inspections.
Other Storm Water Documents for construction and industrial activities such as SUSMP, SWMP, WQMP, DAMP…etc

Field inspections, compliance monitoring and reports
Storm water site inspections, water quality monitoring and reporting are mandatory for all projects covered under the Construction and Industrial NPDES permits. We provide on-site consulting to improve storm water runoff discharges quality from construction site and to comply with NPDES permits and all related State and Federal regulations. Inspection frequency will be determined on a project by project basis. The results of inspections, monitoring and assessments will be presented in reports and checklist format.
Annual Report, Water Sampling and Quarterly field inspections for industrial facilities
All the industrial facilities under the jurisdiction of the NPDES General Industrial permit must conduct at least quarterly field inspection, 2 water sampling and analysis events and prepare a yearly report and present it to the Regional Water Quality Control Board by June 30 of every year. H2OEM succeed to help many industrial facilities to complain with all these requirement and avoid serious fines.
Monitoring and storm water performance evaluation
We provide a special evaluation service to verify conformance with NPDES permits (construction and industrial). This evaluation includes a unique rating criterion to establish an accurate assessment of the project’s performance with water pollution control requirements for a certain period of time (usually the rainy season). Using this evaluation criterion proved to have positive impacts on the overall project’s performance providing consistency in water quality performance analysis and assessment. The results of inspections, monitoring, assessments and evaluation will be presented in reports and checklist format.
Training
Per NPDES General construction and industrial permits, individuals responsible for SWPPP preparation and implementation should be trained. This includes those personal responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of all control measures on-site known as Best Management Practices (BMPs). We provide on job, one on one and/or multimedia training. In the near future H2OEM will provide various online Storm Water Training sessions suitable for the Construction and Industrial sectors
